  Notes	Denver Post, Colorado, 17 October 2012 Doris Bassett Doris Bassett, 81, of Wheat Ridge passed away on October 14, 2012. She was born in Texas, and moved to Colorado after high school. Doris married Richard Bassett in 1955. While married she maintained their home while Richard worked for Coors. After 31 years at Coors Richard retired and they enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband Richard; daughters Susan (Gary) and Carolyn Kay; Brother Charles and Sister Juanita LaVerne; grandchildren Richard, Tiffany, and Alexander; and one great grandchild. She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed. In accordance with her wishes there will be no memorial service. Doris wanted her body to be given to science so it could assist the medical profession to better understand her types of medical issues.
