Miss Bessette is a graduate of Catholic Central High School and is employed by the New York State Tax & Finance Department, Menands. Her fiancé, a graduate of Waterford High School, is a veteran of service in the Air Force. He is employed at General Electric in Waterford and is studying at Siena College. An April wedding is planned. Announcement of the engagement was made at a party at the South End Travern given by the employes of Acme Fast Freight Inc. in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Bessette?s 25th wedding anniversary. The guests of honor, who will leave shortly for a Southern vacation, were presented with a silver service.
