  Notes	Lexington Herald, Kentucky, Tuesday, December 29, 1964 Local Obadiah Bass Obadiah Bass, 82, a retired architect, died at 1:15 p.m. yesterday at the Good Samaritan Hospital after an illness of several months. He had resided at the Phoenix Hotel. A native of Albemarle County, Virginia, he had lived in Lexington for more than 30 years. He designed the Wellington Arms Apartment building on East Main Street. He is survived by a brother, Barclay P. Bass, Stearns, and several nieces and nephews, in cluding Mrs. Myrtle B. Shorter, Lexington. The body was taken to the W. R. Wilward Mortuary ? Broadway. Lexington Leader, Kentucky, Wednesday, January 6, 1965 Four Receive Estate of Obadiah Bass Obadiah Bass, who died Dec. 28, left his $90,000 estate to four relatives. His will, probated Tuesday in County Court, directed that the four ? Barclay P. Bass and Mrs. Myrtle B. Shorter, of Lexington, and Mrs. Allen Scott Rhodes, and Mrs. Myrtle Cox, of CHarlottsville, Va. ? share in the estate.
