BESSETTE, Diane L. (Honko), 61, of Cumberland, formerly of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Barbara (Artemik) Honko. She resided in Lincoln for over 20 years, later moving to Cumberland.
Diane had worked for many local Financial Institutions throughout her career.
Those who will miss her will always remember her love of life, the beach and her cooking. She enjoyed her time at the beach, spending over ten hours each day by the water. Diane enjoyed cooking for her family. Among all of her wonderful attributes, she most loved her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She leaves her children, Michael A. Bessette and his wife Kerri of Harrisville, Ronald G. Bessette of Lincoln and Joseph D. Bessette of Lincoln; her sister Catherine Rose of East Greenwich; her grandchildren, Olivia and Chase; as well her two nieces, Crystal Luna and Rochelle Rose.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Diane's Life Celebration to be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 with Visiting Hours from 5 to 8 PM and continue on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
