  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary James F. Bass Dies Suddenly Heart Attack Fatal to Local Police Officer James F. Bass, Sr., age 72, city police officer, died suddenly at 9:00 a.m. Friday at his home, 20 N. Broadway. Born at Standale, Ind., Mr. Bass had lived in this city for the past 27 years. Mr. Bass engaged in auto sales for twenty years and for the past six years had been a member of the city police force. He was a member of the Bradley Methodist church. He is survived by there sons, Robert B., Chicago; Porte4r W., Kansas City, Kan., and James, Jr., this city; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Chambers, Folsomville, Ind.; two brothers, John and Newitt Bass, Princeton, Ind., and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Estella, preceded him in death in May, 1951. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m., at Pasco Funeral Home, with Rev. A.C. Underwood officiating. Interment will be in Park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Saturday noon.
