B. Newit Bass
Funeral services for B. Newitt Bass, 75, Princeton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Colvin and Son Chapel with the Rev. Newton Jones in charge. Interment follows in IOOF Cemetery.
Mr. Bass, a former member of the Princeton Police Dept., died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday of a heart attack enroute to Gibson General Hospital. He was stricken while in the home of a son, Hollis, Oewsnville. Mr. Bass had been in ill health for several months.
Born March 20, 1884, in Pike County near Stendal, Mr. Bass had lived in Princeton the past 50 years. He was a member of the Princeton Memorial Methodist Church. His wife, Grace M., died Jan. 30, 1959.
Survivors include another son, Harold S., Princeton; a brother, John D., Princeton; a sister, Mrs. Alva Chambers, Lynnville; four grandchildren, Richard Bass, Princeton, Mrs. William Hedge, Ft. Branch, Mrs. Robert Jones, Mt. Carmel, and Robert, Owensville; and five great-grandchildren.

PRINCETON (Special) ? B. Newitt Bass, 74, retired carpenter who had been an automobile salesman and a member of the Princeton police department, died Saturday after a heart attack. Funeral arrangements are being made by the Colvin and Son mortuary.
