Marguerite "Peggy" Sullivan 1928 - 2022 Wilbraham Marguerite "Peggy" (Denis) Sullivan, 94 of Wilbraham, passed away on Dec 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield on Dec 13, 1928 to the late Albert P. and Irene H. (Bassett) Denis. She was a graduate of Classical High School and also attended American International College. On September 6, 1947 she married the love of her life James T. Sullivan. James predeceased her on January 15, 1978. She was a homemaker for many years and later worked at Albert Steiger Company for 14 years, retiring in 1989. Peggy was predeceased by her son John C. Sullivan and her two brothers, Robert B. Denis and Albert P. Denis Jr. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her daughter Susan E. Sullivan of San Antonio, FL and two sons Michael D. Sullivan and his wife Mary of Hatfield and Stephen P. Sullivan of Windsor Locks, CT. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy "Sally" Coleman of Bethlehem, PA; daughter in-law June McGrath Sullivan and 6 grandchildren: James, Ryan, Cory, Evan, Michael, and Amy. She also leaves behind 5 great grandchildren. Peggy leaves her very close friends, Evette Godin and Jeanne Zinn of Wilbraham and Roxana Alequin of Granby. The family would also like to thank the staff and nurses of 2nd floor Charlene Manor in Greenfield, MA for their kindness and care during her time as a resident there. A Memorial Service will be held on May 11, 2023 with an obituary and more complete details to follow in early May 2023.
