Pansy Bass
Pansy Bass, 95, of Rison, Arkansas, formerly of McGehee, died Sunday, June 19, 2005 at Jefferson Regional Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was born December 5,1909 in Ingalls, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Kitchell; mother, Stella Winder Kitchell; her husband, Charlie B. Bass; one son, Charlie D. Bass; two daughters, Stella Bass Brighthil and Ruby Imalene Pardon; one grandson, Randy Pardon and five sisters and two brothers. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She is survived by four sons, Louie B. Bass and Jerry Bass both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Grover E. Bass of Hope, Arkansas; Eddie Bass of Bossier City, Louisiana; two daughters, Dora May Padgett of Grapevine, Arkansas and Anita B. Chandler of Rison, Arkansas; one brother, Jack Claud Kitchell of San Leandro, California; and two sisters, Meda K. Jackson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Opal K. Hargrarves of Lillie, Louisiana, 33 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McGehee Cemetery with Brother Robert Barns officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Service of McGehee.
