Geraldine Susan Bass
Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Susan Bass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Alexandria, with Reverend Rich Snow officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Bass, 71, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.
Geraldine worked for Cleco for thirty years. She enjoyed being at the camp, hunting and fishing. She loved her dogs, and Christmas was her favorite time of year. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah Cooper.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty-six years, Chester Bass, Sr. of Pineville; two sons, Chester Leroy Bass, Jr., and wife Staci, of Pineville, and Samuel Joseph Bass, and wife Kimberly, of Pineville; one sister, Sandy Romer of Portland, Oregon; four grandchildren, Christian Bass, Canyon Bass, Joey Bass (Heather), and Laiken Lavalley (Logan); and four great grandchildren, Charlee Bass, Ryker Norris, Oklee Lavalley, and Harper Bass.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until time of departure to the church 1:30 p.m.
