Mrs. Ellen Gibson Bass
Memorial services for Mrs. Ellen Gibson Bass, a former Evanston and Hinsdale resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Walker Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, 1427 N. Chicago Av. Mrs. Bass, 73, died March 6 in Seattle where she lived with her son. She was a former board member of Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and a volunteer at the Oriental Institute, the University of Chicago, and Hinsdale Health Museum. Her late husband, Perkins B. Bass Jr., was an industrial engineer at Argonne National Laboratory. She is survived by a son, Perkins B. III, and three grandchildren.
