She is the widow of the late Cary K. Bass. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Kerney; three sons, Francis W. Bass, Vincent A. Bass and W. Alan Bass; two sisters, Eva Carter and Julia Mills; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2002. Burial will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fredericksburg.
