George Mills Bass
George Mills Bass, 91, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Monterey Park Nursing Home.
Mr. Bass was born Sept. 30, 1915, to Harry George and Kathryne (Trissel) Bass in Waukee, Iowa. He was a warehouseman for the National Nabisco Co. He was a veteran of World War II.
His survivors include one son, George M. Bass, of Forrest City, Ark.; one daughter, Dona Lee (Paul) Gist, of Independence; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 19, at the Webb Freer Funeral Home, 205 S.W. 17th St. in Blue Springs. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the Grain Valley Community of Christ Church, 32901 E. Pink Hill Road, Grain Valley. Internment will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Grain Valley.
