Survivors are a daughter, Paula Lee Caldwell, Kennesaw; a son, John Randolph Caldwell, Kennesaw; mother, Evie Lee Stowe, Jackson; two sisters, Lennie Abaer, Griffin, Mary Ann Carmickel, Red Bluff, Calif.; four brothers, Aubrie L. Bassett, Stone Mountain, Carlton Bassett, Clarksville, Alton Bassett, Roswell, Perry Bassett, Kennesaw; two half-brothers and two half-sisters, several nieces and nephews. Norman Medford Funeral Home, Marietta, is in charge of arrangements.
