Sharon Ann Satterlee
Sharon Ann Satterlee, 38, died unexpectedly and far too young on June 17, 2020 in Center Barnstead, NH. Sharon was born in Syracuse on Dec 29, 1981 to Charles and Carol (Bassett) Satterlee. Sharon grew up in Eastwood and attended Henninger High School and Le Moyne College in Syracuse. Eventually she moved to Lowell, MA to be with the love of her life Julie Bednarski, who had the honor of being her partner for the past 7 years. Sharon spent much of her life helping others and had a special affinity for helping those with cognitive disabilities, physical disabilities, and Alzheimer's Disease. She was a phenomenal leader, a gifted educator and team builder, because she empatheticly understood and cared about people. She created family everywhere she went. Sharon had many passions. She and Julie loved driving to the beach to see the sunset, trying cozy little restaurants, going on adventures and to concerts. Her love of history lead to her making many genealogical discoveries, and she was generous in helping others find their roots. She provided face masks to protect co-workers who desperately needed them. Sharon was a political activist and was overjoyed to see the recent Supreme Court decision protecting gay people from discrimination. Sharon will be sorely missed by her partner, family, and many friends. Sharon is survived by her partner, Julie Bednarski, her mother Carol Satterlee, her siblings June & Frank Mastrogiovanni, Elizabeth & Steve Sledziona, Tom and John Satterlee and her nieces and nephews Griffin, Zach, Luca, Vittoria, and Lexi.
