Aline Loretta Bass, Virginia Beach
Virginia Beach - Aline Loretta Bass, 77, was called home on April 11, 2015. Aline was born on March 21, 1938 in Queen City, Va. Beach, VA to Romulus and Reba C. Bass. She graduated from Booker T. Washington where she was a majorette. After attending Norfolk State College, she worked for Norfolk City Public Schools. Left to cherish her memory as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Aline is survived by her son, Jack Dark III, his wife, Munch Dark, grandchildren, Rico and Asia, grand-pup and companion, Coco; her son, Michael T. Owens, his wife, Cheree Owens, grandchildren, Chad, Zachari and Zacari, great-grandchild, D'Asia Owens; her brother, Romulus Bass, Jr., his wife, Linda Bass; her sisters, Georgia Bass and Spring Bass along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Aline will be remembered for her love for her family and her outgoing personality. A home-going celebration will be held at Greater St. Andrews AME Church, 3008 MacDonald Lane, Va. Beach, VA 23464 on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 am with a reception of fellowship to follow in the community hall.
