Eric Scott Bassett
Centerville, Georgia ? Eric Scott Bassett, 51, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. A Memorial Service honoring the life of Eric will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 12:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
Eric was born on February 19, 1970 in Warner Robins, Georgia to Polly Meadows and the late Marvin Bassett. Eric was a very outgoing individual who thrived on bringing others a smile and making them laugh. In Eric?s free time he could often times be found dancing or impersonating Jim Carry or Michael Jackson. He was also very gifted with the work of his hands that created many beautiful canvas paintings. Eric had a very charismatic soul causing him to help anyone in his or her time of need no matter the circumstances. Eric was a follower of his Lord and Savior and served him with all his soul, mind, and strength. He will forever be remembered for his infectious smile and the love he had for his devoted family.
In addition to his father, Eric is preceded in death by his loving sister, Bonnie Bassett and his brother-in-law, Joe Astin.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved daughter, Alana Bassett; Mother, Polly Meadows Bassett; Siblings, Gail Bassett, Toni Bassett, Jeff Bassett; Granddaughter, Alora Nicole McDonald. A host of nieces and nephews and a countless amount of friends also survives Eric.
