      Summerhill, March 7 ? Daniel Seibert, who died Sunday morning at his home here, served two enlistments in the Civil War, was an old Canal Boatman and served for many years on the Pennsylvania Railroad. In the Civil War, Mr. Seibert enlisted October 15, 1861, and served until June 18, 1864, in Company C, 93rd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He re-enlisted June 13, 1864, in Company D, 16th Regiment, Veteran Reserve Corps and served until November 25, 1865, when he was honorably discharged. Previous to the war, M. Seibert worked on the old Pennsylvania Canal between Philadelphia and Scranton. After the war, he began working for the Pennsylvania Railroad, serving for 30 years, when he was retired and placed on the pension list. Daniel Seibert was born April 11, 1837 in Lebanon County. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. George Costello of South Fork; Mrs. Logan Hildebrand of Echo; Mrs. George Bassett, of South Fork; and Mrs. Lemon Hull of Summerhill. He was a sister of Mrs. M. Green of Meadville. Funeral services at 1 o?clock tomorrow afternoon, the remains of Mr. Seibert will be taken to the Pringle Hill Cemetery for interment.
