Carol A. Adamy
Chesapeake - Carol Anne Bessette Adamy died peacefully in Chesapeake, Va on Saturday, June 4th at the age of 77. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Agnes Evans Derouchie and Julius Lyle Bessette, and brothers Raymond and Richard Bessette. Carol is survived by her children, Vicki (Adamy) Heinly and husband Kevin of Templton, MA, David J. Adamy II and wife Debra of Centreville, VA, Beth Adamy- Maschok and husband Greg of Chesapeake, VA; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Carol, born in Burlington, VT on Feb. 24, 1939 has resided in Chesapeake for the last 17 years. She also lived in Manchester, CT., San Francisco, CA and North Reading, MA. She was an active volunteer for multiple local groups and loved playing Bingo.
No services are planned at this time. Her family will be celebrating her life at a private memorial in Vermont later this summer. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to the American Diabetes Association. Also, condolences can be sent online to www.halefuneralhome.com.
