  Notes	The Post-Star, Glens Falls, N.Y., Friday, January 4, 1952 Mrs. Matilda Bessett Mrs. Matilda Bessett, Burgoyne Avenue, died at 8 P.M. Thursday. She was 97 years old. Surviving are a son, John Leopard of Fort Edward; four daughters, Mrs. Matilda Phillips, Fort Edward; Mrs. Charles Morough, Keene, N.H.; Mrs. Hattie Ross and Mrs. William Wetmore of Glens Falls, and several grandchildren. The body will be at the Carleton Funeral Home where friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday.
