BASS, Mr. Marcus Bernard Sr. ?Markie? ? age 57, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Pastor James H. Keys, Sr., Officiating. Friends and Pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Friday. Mr. Bass will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from Noon ? 6:00 PM Thursday.
Mr. Bass leaves to cherish his memory wife, Allison Bass; son, Marcus B. Bass, Jr.; siblings, Kim Twitty, Nakita Bass and Andrea Manns; step-mother, Verdia Bass; aunts, Laura Sue Mickens, Linda Horton and Ruby Burford; uncle, Jimmy Gaiter; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Bass was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Rev. Joe Bass; sister, JoAnn Bass; grandparents, Eugene and Cora Lee Horton; and Aurora Bass.
