Funeral Services Held For John A. Bass
Funeral services were held from the J.E. Flynn Funeral Home Tuesday for John Quincey Bass, 51, who died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lilly Grames early Monday. Interment was in the Price city cemetery.
Bass was born on October 28, 1872, in Kansas, a son of Joseph Church Bass and Harriett Tucker Bass. Surviving are his divorced wife, Grace McDonald Bass; six children, Mrs. Elouise Woodhead, Kenilworth; Mrs. Alvera Kirkwood, Bonnie, Wanda, and Wilma Bass, Provo; two brothers, Walter Bass, Price, and Harvey Bass, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Grames, Price, and Mrs. Lula Stephens, Provo.
Speakers at the funeral service were E.S. Horsley, William Downard and Orson Larsen.
