Pauline F. Dufresne
HARDWICK - Sister Pauline F. Dufresne, CND (S.S. Victor Marie), 83, died at Andrus On Hudson in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., Sunday, July 29, 2012. Sister Pauline was born April 2, 1929, in Hardwick, daughter of the late Victor and Marie (Bessette) Dufresne. Sister Pauline was an art educator for many years in Kankakee, Chicago and South Holland, Ill., Notre Dame Academy in Waterbury, Conn., Notre Dame School in St. Johnsbury and finally at St. John the Evangelist in Watertown, Conn. Sister Pauline is survived by her CND community and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by four sisters and five brothers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregation of Notre Dame Mission Advancement Office, 30 Highfield Road, Wilton, CT 06897. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Villa Notre Dame in Wilton, Conn. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Danbury, Conn. The CND community will receive friends between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Villa Notre Dame, 345 Belden Hill Road, Wilton, Conn.
