Bass, 78, 116 S. 4rd E., Sandy, who died Sunday morning of natural causes in a Salt lake hospital. He was born July 3, 1884 in Laplatta, Colo. to Josehp C. and Easter Hariett Tucker Bass. He married Hannah C. Jenson Sept. 5, 1917 in Price, The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors include his widow; sons, daughters, Richard G., Norwalk, Calif.; Melvin H., Mrs. Perry (Norma) Isaacs, Mrs. Allie (Virginia) Burke, all of Sandy; Mrs. Frank (Lucille) Holston, Layton; sisters, Mrs. Lela Stephens, Provo; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Burial was in Sandy City cemetery.
