  Notes	The Courier-Journal, 5 Jun 2010 David O. Bassett Sr. BASSETT, DAVID O. SR., 82, of Fairdale, joined his beloved wife Janis Bassett in Heaven on Thursday, June 3, 2010. He was a 55-year member of the FOE #2173 and a retiree from Pillsbur He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Katie Bassett; and his brother, Joseph Bassett. He leaves behind his children, David O. Bassett II and Jayme, Alice and Jimmy Wilson, Toni Cunningham and Thomas and Beth Cunningham; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visiting for Mr. Bassett will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.), where services will be conducted at noon. Burial is to be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
