Bass, 61, a farmer of the Millers Community near here, died at his home early this morning. Graveside services will be held at the Fork Baptist Church MOnday at 3:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Douglas Godbold. Mr. Bass was born in Robeson County, N.C., son of the late Harley and Ella Snipes Bass. He is survived by his wife, the former Carolina Cox; two daughters, Miss Mildred Bass of the home and Mrs. Levi Kale of Rt. 2, Dillon; three grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Bass of Laurinburg, N.C., Baston Bass of Mullins, Rt. 2, and Early Bass of Rt. 2, Dilon; two sisters ,Mrs. Leo Scott of Laurinburg and Mrs. Manie Scott of Rt. 2, Dillon.
