Broward O. Bass
BASS, Broward "Brad" O., 70, of Lakeland, died July 10, 2005, in Albany, Ga. Born in Grady County, Ga., he moved to Tampa in 1954. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired City of Tampa firefighter. He will be missed greatly by his family. Survivors include his friend and former wife, Modesta Bass; daughters, Patricia Bass, and Karen Feaster and husband Jeff of Tampa; three brothers; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 13 in Pelham, Ga.

Services for Broward O. Bass, 70, Lakeland, Fla., are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home Chapel in Pelham. The Rev. Douglas M. Bass Jr. of Norman Park will officiate and interment is in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Mr. Bass died July 10 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany. Born May 18, 1935 in Grady County, he was a son of the late James Otis Bass and Olga Pawnee Fulford Bass. He was a retired firefighter with the city of Tampa, Fla. and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include friend and former wife, Modesta Bass of Tampa; two daughters, Patricia Bass of Tampa, Karen Feaster and husband, Jeff of Tampa; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James H. and Frances Bass of Tallahassee, Fla., George P. and Faye Bass of Thomasville and Freddie and Ruby Bass of Meigs.
