Freddie Fulford Bass, Sr.
Funeral services for Freddie Fulford Bass, 80, of Meigs will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Franklin Russ will officiate and interment will be at Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Hurst, Kenneth Bass, Jerry Hurst, Jimmy Sangster and Jimmy Keith Loyd. Born February 11, 1940 he was the son of the late James Otis and Olga Pawnee Fulford Bass. Mr. Bass passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Meigs Baptist Church and retired Supervisor with Coats and Clarks in Thomasville. He was married to Ruby Lee Loyd Bass who preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter, Beverley Bass Jenkins (John) of Land O Lakes, Fl; Freddie (Fred) Bass, Jr. of Meigs; Tony Bass of Mexico Beach, Fl; Danny Bass (Tracy) of Thomasville; grandchildren Brett Jenkins of Covington; Nichole Fredericks of Malaysia; Scott Bass of Pelham, Toni (Alex) Bass of Pelham; Vann Bass of Pelham; Devin Bass of Thomasville and Austin Milam; great grandchildren, Jade Hopper, Kye Hopper, and Tessa Fredericks.
