George Bassett
The Rev. Father Walsh, of the Holy Angels Church, this morning conducted services for George Bassett at his late home, Williams Street, Broad Street Park. Mr. Bassett died last Wednesday following a short illness. Interment was in St. Mary?s Cemetery under direction of Ralph Tatcher. He was carried to the grave by Elmer and William E. Marion, Charles Nelson and William J. Wharton. Mr. Bassett is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mary Bassett, and four sons, George H., of Lumberton, N.J.; John and Charles S., of Bristo, Pa., and William S. Bassett, of Sharon Hills, Pa.

Bassett Wants Divorce After Thirty-Five Years
Thirty-five years after his wedding and after a married life of twenty-eight years, George M. Bassett of this city has begun suit for divorce from his wife, Mary H. Bassett of Bristol, Pa., charging her with desertion. The Bassetts were married in Burlington, N.J., in 1870, and lived in this city and Bristol for twenty-eight years, at the end of which time the husband claims his wife left him without cause and went to live in Bristol. Bassett is represented by I.B. Gran.
