Ronald Phillip ?Phil? Bassett
Phil Bassett, 53, of Anadarko, Oklahoma was called home by the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his home in Anadarko. Phil was born April 26, 1963 in Beckley, West Virginia to Charles and Olna Ruth (Watson) Bassett.
Phil went to school in Anadarko graduating in 1981. Going to Las Vegas in 1982 he started his own company with the Trade Shows in the Convention Industry later he returned to Anadarko.
Left to cherish his memory is his father, Charles "Ron" Bassett; sister, Dena Bassett-Lee; nieces and nephews: Jared Neilson & Lyndsey Turney, Joshua & Micah Neilson, Josette Neilson and Wayne Whitmore and Jamie Neilson & Brandon stabler; 2 great nephews: Kaynen Whitmore and Wayland Whitmore; Cousins: Mike & Carrie O'Dea; Nancy & Mike Delavega, Pat & Steve Kelley.
Phil is preceded in death by his mother, Olna Ruth Bassett< and his step-mother Jean Anne Bassett and his grandparents Tom & Margie Bassett; J. Lee & Granstine Watson; Uncle William "Bud" O'Dea Aunt Verlee O'Dea.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 5, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Anadarko. David Gardner will officiate. Burial to follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
