Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Bass Tarver, 70, of Olla were to be held at 2 p.m. today at Standard Baptist Church near Olla with the Rev. James Simons officiating. Burial was to be in Harris Cemetery in Olla under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Mrs. Tarver died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday at Columbia Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Tarver is survived by her husband, I. B. Tarver of Olla; a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Peters of Olla; a son, Albert Bass Jr., of Olla; two stepsons, Bruce Tarver and M. L. Tarver, both of Greenwood, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Dolley Corley of Lake Charles; two brothers, Leroy Cruse and Wick Cruse, both of Olla; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
