Bass Camden - Bobby Gean Bass, 27, of Camden died at 9 p.m. Friday night in an automobile accident on the McRae Road. He was born in Columbia, the son of Walter B. Bass and the late Gertrude Bass. He was employed at the Powe Veneer Plant near Camden. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Bowers Bass; two sons, Bobby G. Bass Jr. and Billy Joe Bass, and two daughters, Robin Christine Bass and Barbara Jean Bass, all of the home; his father; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Akins of Monroe, Michigan, Mrs. Al Sprovkin of Columbia, Mrs. Pal Lambert of Jacksonville, Florida, and Miss Jo Ann Bass of Camden; two brothers, Wallace Bass of Camden and Buck Bass of Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Kornegay Funeral Home in Camden. Interment will be in Quaker Cemetery.
