He was born in Tyler, Tex., and had resided 40 years in San Bernardino County. He was an engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad 34 years. Survivors include his wife, Nadine; a son, Edward L. of Brea; two brothers, Oliver V. of New Jersey and Walter L. of Long Beach; a sister, Azzilee Sanders of San Diego, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hughes Loma Linda Mortuary. Private burial will be in Montecito Memorial Park. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the mortuary.
