The new test will be No. 2 Bass, 1,399 feet from the east line, or county, line, and 1,399 feet from the south line of the ranch in the San Rafael grant, seven miles southeast of Agua Nueva. The well is six miles south and east of No. 1 Bass abandoned several days ago at 7,017 feet. Allen & Morris had the contract on the first well.
