Bassett and James H. Bassett, Sr. Mr. Bassett is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Deborah P. Bassett; his two sons, Jason (Gina) Bassett and James (Allison) Bassett; his two sisters, Brenda Holston and Patti Holman; his six grandchildren, Sierra Bassett, Cameron Bassett, Shelby Bassett, Bryant Bassett, Lilly Bassett, and Carson Bassett. Mr. Bassett was a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast and was a big history buff. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The Reverend Tim Campbell will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley.
