Wooldridge
Departed this life in a Richmond hospital Tuesday, December 5, 1972, Mr. Walter C. Wooldridge of 2804 Dupont Circle, formerly of Patterson Ave. (Westwood). He is survived by his devoted wife, Mrs. Ruth S. Woolridge; two daughters, Mrs. Mary W. Smith, and Mrs. Vornetta W. Bassette; three grandchildren; Mr. Raymond Smith Jr., Mr. Caesar Bassette, Jr., and Miss Gail Bassette; two sisters, Miss Eva Wooldridge of New York City, and Mrs. McLena W. Brown; one brother, Mr. Henry Wooldridge; two nieces, Mrs. Bessie W. Davis, and Miss Hulda Brown; two greatnieces; three great nephews; a devoted cousin, Mrs. Bessie D. Banks; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; devoted friends, Mr. and Mrs. Claiborne Faison, and a host of other relatives and friends. The remains are resting at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Street. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 1:30 p.m., from the Westwood Baptist Church, 915 Glenburnie Avenue, Reverend Dwight C. Jones, Pastor, officiating, assisted by Dr. B.W. Robertson. Interment in Westwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends attending funeral services kindly assemble at the residence of this daughter, Mrs. Vernetta W. Bassette, 3224 Garrett St., Saturday, 12:30 p.m.
