Mr. Bass was born on July 1, 1957 in Hahira, Georgia to the late David Bass and Julia (Watson) Bass of Hahira, Georgia. Dennis worked as a farmhand for Millirons Farms of Hahira. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his niece, Jillian Guess.Survivors include: son: David Bass of Germany; daughter: Vanessa Bass of Germany; mother: Julia (Watson) Bass of Hahira; sister: Diane Guess of Hahira; brother and sister-in-law: Sam and Belinda Bass of Valdosta, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law: Sylvia and Danny Pinson of West Virginia; special aunt: Liz Owens; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music. Funeral services with burial following in Friendship Cemetery, Hahira. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, May 6, 2019 at the funeral home.
