Miss Elizabeth Bassett Engaged To Jack m. Swig, Law Student
Miss Elizabeth Ann Bassett and Jack Marshard Swig are engaged and will be married on Aug. 23 in the chapel at Wellesley college, in Wellesley, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. John Putnam Bassett, 208 Old Mill road, Fairfield and Pomfret, Vt. have announced the engagements of their daughter to the son of Mrs. S. Robert Stone of Boston and Palm Beach, Fla. and the late Hirsch M. Swig.
A travel consultant with Beacon Hill Travel, Boston, Miss Bassett is an alumna of Roger Ludlowe high school, Wellesley college and Tufts university, where she received a master?s degree in special education.
Mr. Swig, who expects to be graduated in June from New England School of Law, is an alumnus of Worcester academy and Boston university. He also attended Merlo college.
