Mr. Bass was a farmer, a former resident of O'Brien, Fla. and has resided in the Ft.White, Fla. area since 1997. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Maggie Bass of Ft. White; three daughters, Shirley Ann Judy Ziegler, Barbara Ann Johnston, Lisa Darlene White all of Ft. White; four sons, Daniel Douglas, Harvey Lavone Tripp, Donald Ray Bass and Leon Earl Bass all of Ft. White; one brother, Junior Bass of O'Brien; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren also survive . Funeral services were conducted Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Daniels Memorial Chapel, Branford, Fla. Interment followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Gilchrist County. Visitation was held on Monday, one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Daniels Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. Branford , FL., in charge of arrangements.
