  Notes	The Huntsville Times, May 22, 2016 Alrene Bassett Hart Oct 19, 1923 - May 17, 2016 Arlene Bassett Hart, 93, died this week at her home in Huntsville. She was the beloved wife of 71 years and the companion of 75 years of Edwin M. Hart and the mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of 24. She was born in Boston, but her summers in Parker Head, Maine, were the important parts of her early life. She was happiest in the woods, mountains and water, all of which she later found in her Huntsville environs, although she returned to Maine each summer until her last years. She reluctantly moved to Huntsville in 1953, but once settled in she was a content resident and happy neighbor. Members of her New England family even thought she'd adopted a Southern drawl. She'll be missed by many.
