Gloria Jean Bass Hudson

Gloria Jean Bass Hudson, daughter of the late John Bass and the late Ruby (Hutcherson) Bass, was born October 16, 1944, in Leechburg, PA.
In 1962, Gloria graduated from Leechburg High School being recognized in her high school year book as ?extremely well-liked and respected by all.?
Gloria retired from the Commonwealth of PA. She was united in Christian fellowship with Second Baptist Church, Harrisburg, PA., where she served as a Trustee.
Good natured, gregarious, organized and very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects were among Gloria?s many attributes. She was a voracious reader, especially of fiction novels, as well as an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Eagles.
In Harrisburg, on Thursday, October 7, 2021, Gloria transitioned from time to eternity at seventy-six years of age joining in eternal life her father, John Bass who passed away in 2000; her mother, Ruth (Hutcherson) Bass who passed away in 2007; and her aunt, Margaret Hutcherson.
Gloria leaves a legacy to be cherished and honored by her first cousins, Alyce C. Marsh of Philadelphia, PA, Joyce Denise Lissimore of Valdosta, GA, Leroy Bass of Fort Myers, FL, Phyllis Sibley of Biloxi, Mississippi, Sherman Hutcherson and his wife Ronda of Buffalo, NY, and Shelia Hutcherson of Buffalo, NY; second cousins, Stephanie Marsh and her husband Byron Golson of Philadelphia, PA, and Misty Hutcherson Bryant of Conyers, GA; her church family and many friends.
