Amy Marie Bassett
Amy Marie Bassett departed her loving family on November 21st of 2024.Born in Gardner MA and raised in Phillipston. Daughter of Edward L Bassett Jr and Carol E Bassett from Phillipston Mass. Mother of Erica, Nicole, Ashley, Cody, Dylan and Daryn. Sister to Steve, Todd, Susan and Jessica. Grandmother to Trinity, Jaecey, Jourdyn, Caspian and Emberlee. She always enjoyed making crafts and collecting vines for christmas wreaths, and refurbishing antique furniture. She loved camping and fishing as well as cooking she could make something out of nothing. She was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. Amy loved tigers especially white ones. She was beautiful and always known for her vanity. She liked the 70's style jackets and fringe and feathers. She loved to garden and smell Grandma's yellow roses and gladiolas. She enjoyed cleaning a lot for her occupation and worked as a deli specialist last, she was a very hard worker, very creative. She made each penny count. On a perfect day for her she would be spending time with her family and her grandchildren laughing and playing outside working on her tan or wanting to go fishing on the beaches on Cape Cod. She always made the holidays awesome. She had many friends and a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memorial service will be held at The Winchendon American legion in Winchendon MA on this coming December 28th between the hours of 1-4 p.m. if you would like to attend. Refreshments and food will be served as well as stories and photos in her memory.
