Mrs. Nathaniel Manners
Private Christian Science funeral services for Mrs. Ella Bass Manners, 82, formerly of Seattle and Woodinville, were scheduled today in the Hill Funeral Home, Puyallup. Cremation was to follow.
Mrs. Manners died Monday in Puyallup, her home five months. She was the widow of Nathaniel Manners, a Woodinville school janitor and bus driver.
Born in Black Hills, S.D., Mrs. Manners went to Spokane on horseback with her family when she was 9. She first came to Seattle in 1902. She made her home in Woodinville form about 1920 to 1954, when she returned here.
Mrs. Manners was a member of the Seventh Church of Christ, Scientist, Seattle, and the Mother Church, Boston. She formerly was a reader at the Bothell Christian Science Church a number of years.
Survivors are a son, Edwin L. Manners, and a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Krone, both of Seattle; a granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
