Patricia Mae Bassett
Patricia Mae Bassett, age 80, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away on October 5, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 23, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to Claude and Betty (Crites) McNeil. Patricia was a devoted member of the Nettleton Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was a loving homemaker who cherished her family above all else. She enjoyed shopping, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and making memories with those she loved. Patricia especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought great joy to her life.
Survivors include; husband of 61 years: Richard Bassett of the home; one daughter: Tammy Davenport (Ken) of Brookland, Arkansas; one son: Doug Bassett (Jacy) of Dallas, Texas; two brothers: Ken McNeil (Sue) of Rolla, Missouri and Claude McNeil, Jr. (Cheryl) of Rolla, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Hannah, Katie, Josh, Kendall, Kaitlyn, Emma, Mason, Olivia; four great gran?dchildren: Braxton, Ava, Charley, Summer; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by; her parents: Claude and Betty (Crites) McNeil.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
