Bass, Jr., died Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Bernice M. Shirah. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Bass Convenience Store and Quality Vending. She is survived by 2 sons, Robert E. Bass, III and James Terry Bass (Heather); a sister, Leona McCoy; 3 grandchildren, Jamie, Alex and Mason Bass, all of Sumter. A graveside service will be held 10:00 Tuesday at Mayesville Black River Cemetery with Dr. David Richardson presiding.
