Michael Bass

Michael L. Bass, Sr, 65 of New Haven, CT passed away on August 22, 2022. He was born and raised in Kingstree, SC until he relocated to New Haven, CT in 1975.
Michael liked to have fun and was the life of the party. He was notorious for cracking jokes and making people laugh. He was adored by many. Michael was good with his hands and could fix just about anything. This gift led him to be a Self Employed Contractor. He was a hard worker to the very end. For those that knew him, fishing was his hobby.
Michael is survived by his ex-wife, Marguerite Bass and their two children; Lakiesha and Michael Bass, Jr. A long time friend, Ethel Smith and his significant other, Monique Hollis. His grandson, O'shea Bass. His four sisters; Janice McKenzie and Betty Smith of New Haven, CT, Coretta Thompson of Kingstree, SC and Janet (Jose) Rosado of West Haven, CT. His brother, Harry Bass of TN. A host of relatives and friends that loved him.
Michael's wings were ready but our hearts were not. We will always love him.
