Mr. Bass was born in New York City on November 21, 1948, the son of the late William E. and Eileen C. (Houghey) Bass. Mr. Bass was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed as the director of Operations for Lakeside Family & Children Services in Spring Valley. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife Anne McKiernan Bass of Pomona; five sons, Jeffrey, Christopher, Brendan, Damon and Justin all of Pomona; a brother Kenneth of Florida, a sister Nancy Mulhern of Garnerville and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 27th at 10:15 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville. Internment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Monsey. Friends may call at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. It is suggested memorial contributions may be made to United Hospice of Rockland, 18 Thiells-Mt.
