Pearl Lena Thomas
Pearl Lena Thomas, 93, of Lake Butler, died November 19 in St. Luke?s Hospital following a long illness. The Madison County native and former Lake Park, Ga., resident, moved to Union County in 1917. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, Lake Butler.
Survivors include seven sons, James Al of Crescent City, Ralph H. of Orange City, Robert H. of Keystone Heights, Claude L of Boca Raon, Gus S. of Elwood City, Pa., Russell E. and Henry E., both of Jacksonville; daughters Lawana Coleman of Jacksonville and Oweeda Shouppe of Glen St. Mary; 31 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held November 22 at her church, with burial in Dekle Cemetery, Union County. Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler, was in charge of arrangements.
