David Eugene Bass
BASS ? Funeral services for David Eugene Bass, 63, will be held Wednesday, November 11, 998 at Pone Vedra Presbyterian Church, 4510 Palm Valley Road at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery. Mr. Bass died Saturday, November 7, 1998 at home. He was an established resident of Palm valley (Flamingo Section). He was an Honorary Mayor of Palm Valley and a honorary member of the American Legion in Palm Valley. Survivors include his wife Betty jean Bass; a son, Ronald Eugene (Sylvia) Bass; a daughter, Linda Diane (Jimmy) Laidler, all of Palm Valley; two brothers, Curtis Bass of Jacksonville and Johnny Bass of Jacksonville; three sisters, Eva Coggins, Anita Harvey and Bonnie Weitzel all of Jacksonville; three grandchildren Serena Bass, Jimmy Laidler Jr., and Lacey Jean Laidler all of Palm Balley; also survived by 36 nieces and nephews, numerous great-great nieces and nephews and lots and lots of cousins. The family will receive friends Tuesday (TONIGHT) at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home and Crematory, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
