Home Wedding Was Pretty One
Very quietly this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Bassett of Chase street, Miss Elizabeth Harland became the bride of Melvin R. Bassett. The bride wore a lovely white gown and flowing veil. In her arms she carried a huge bridal bouquet of white4 roses and sweet peas. The ceremony was performed in front of an altar banked with pretty spring flowers. Rev. J.A. McCamey of the First Methodist Episcopal church read the beautiful ring service at eight o?clock, with member of the family and a few dear friends present. Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Farnsworth attended the couple.
The ceremony was followed by a wedding breakfast. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Bassett, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Snyder, Miss Maude Snyder, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Farnsworth, Rev. J.A. McCamey, Miss Norma Dale, Mr. and Mrs. Emile Stenger, Mrs. Ruth Batch, Harry Nelson of DuBois and Benjamin Hartland of Brookville.
Mr. and Mrs. Bassett have gone to Tulsa, Okla., for their wedding trip after which they will be at home in this city.

Mrs. Melvin Bassett?s Mother Succumbs
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon in Youngstown, Ohio, in memory of Mrs. Anna Hartland, 82, mother of Mrs. Melvin Bassett of Kane, who succumbed suddenly Sunday from a heart attack.
She was living at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Hallberg. Survivors include six daughters and one son. Mr. and Mrs. Bassett will attend the funeral.
