SHIPSHWANA, Ind. - Jane E. Eash, 62, 49060 N. 450 West, died at 3 a.m. Monday at her home.
She was born May 10, 1942 in Sturgis, Mich., to Ralph E. and Wreta L. (hagerty) Bassett.
She married Gerald L. Eash on April 29, 1961 in Scott, Ind.
She was a lifetime LaGrange County resident.
She was a homemaker. From 1983 to 2004 she was a bus driver for Westview School Corp.
She is survived by her husband, Shipshewana; one daughter, Annette Munsell, Topeka, Ind.; four sons, Tyler J. Eash, Pontiac, Mich., Christopher L. Eash, FOrt Wayne, Ind., Ryan S. (Christie) Eash, Wilson, N.C., and Cory M. (Vanessa) Eash, Wolcottville, Ind.; one brother, Charles F. Bassett, Auburn, Ind.; three sisters, Martha Lou (Rober) Lee, Middlebury, Ind., Marilyn (David) Andreson, Kalamazoo, Mich., Elaine (Paul) Kronewitter, Rolling Prarie, Ind., and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Charlotte Miller.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Frurip May Funeral Home, LaGrange. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brent Eash officiating.
Burial will be at Sidener Cemetery, Shipshewanna.
